Unesco World Heritage Site – the Lavaux Vineyard:

The Lavaux Vineyard has been classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2007. A succession of vineyards on the hills that overlook the lake and typical Swiss villages. A unique panorama and Lavaux-Vinorama , a wine museum.


Lake Cruise:

Most of the Old lake boats are paddle steamers which date from the 1900s. They transport visitors to all the picturesque spots on the lake. These cruises allow you to appreciate the landscape of the Riviera with a view of the lake. It is not to be missed.


Chillon Castle :

Built on the lake, Chillon Castle inspired the famous Lord Byron poem, ‘The Prisoner of Chillon’. The castle is now a museum – this visit is a must.


The Quays of Montreux :

A 7 kilometers platform for pedestrian use on the banks of the lake, with more than 500 different species of flowers each season, 7 varieties of Palm trees and even banana plants, and a 10 million budget for the town gardeners. The Quays of Montreux are the Swiss Croisette so to speak. On foot, bicycle or roller skates, it is well worth the trip!


The Rochers de Naye by cog railway :

Above Montreux, the mountain of the Rochers-de-Naye is accessible by a little cog railway which will take you up to 2045 meters. The view of the lake and the Alps is one of the most beautiful views in Switzerland. In winter, you can also ski at the Rochers-de-Naye.

With the Riviera Card, the journey from Vevey House to Hauts-de-Caux where you can find our mountain restaurant, CouCou, is free. A very beautiful journey.


Gruyère, its medieval village, its cheese and the chocolate factory :

The medieval village of Gruyère has kept all of its charm and authenticity. In this historic village we can also find the permanent exhibition of H. R. Giger, the Swiss artist who is the creator of Alien. You can combine this visit with the Gruyère Dairy and the Cailler chocolate factory in Broc.


Panoramic Train from Montreux to Gstaad:

Golden Pass Line – This panoramic train connects Montreux to Gstaad, the celebrity resort. The line connects the Bernese Oberland to the Swiss Riviera and also has a line to Lucerne.
